WCC assurance year two - launch event

WCC assurance year two will be launched on 16 September at an invitation only event in London for SHA and PCT Chief Executives, Chairs, PEC Chairs and other key stakeholders. Each SHA and PCT is asked to send two representatives.

The day will consist of keynotes and interactive workshop sessions, with time for executive networking and market stalls.  Commissioning teams will be able to watch the event online, as it happens and afterwards.

The assurance year two handbook will be made available at the event.  Following the launch, commissioners will be able to download the handbook and supporting documentation from this website.

SHA and PCT commissioning teams are invited to watch this event on-line:

  • Watch the keynote speakers, panel discussion and interactive workshop sessions

Primary Care Live 2009

World class commissioning will be at Primary Care Live at the Excel Centre in London on 30 September and 1 October 2009 and at Primary Care Live Manchester on 4 and 5 November 2009.  Come and visit the world class commissioning cinema on the show floor to watch a number of films, screened throughout both events. Primary Care Live seminar streams will feature presentations on practice-based commissioning, assurance year two and the integrated care pilots programme.

Visit www.primarycarelive.com to book your place and seminar sessions.

Integrated Care Pilots

An event designed to enable pilot sites and those short-listed for the programme to build relationships and share experience will be taking place in Leeds on 12 and 13 October 2009.  All places for the event are allocated to members of the pilots and short-listed teams, and their SHA counterparts, to enable detailed discussions on implementation.

This event is just one of a series that we are planning during the life of the national programme. Future events should enable pilots and wider stakeholders to meet together and share information on how the pilots are developing.

Learning from this event that is relevant to wider audiences will be available after the event.
